Cuddles

On Sunday, July 27, 2014, our family adopted “Cuddles” – which our daughter Mackenzie renamed “Daisy”. We brought along our 5 year old mini Goldendoodle “Oliver” for the big day. Oliver and Daisy hit it off right away. They were both excited and checking each other out – both of them seemed relaxed and happy. Little did we know that this little dog would become such an important member of our family in such a short time…. Daisy’s first week at our house was one of transition for her and for us. She seemed a little anxious and was trying to figure out what was going on. She had her vet appointment on Tuesday – her second day at our home. She had a great check up and was full of personality for her new doctor.  She continued to settle in a little more each day. She stuck close to our daughter Mackenzie throughout the day – rarely leaving her side. Mackenzie would sit with Daisy at our door wall window and watch the birds (and occasional deer). This is definitely one of Daisy’s favorite spots in our home. She sits and takes it all in – it is almost as if she has never looked out a window before. She just loves it. Her other favorite place in our home is sitting next to Mackenzie in the lazy boy chair. She snuggles and sleeps here on and off throughout the day. Kathy – when you told us that sometimes she is almost like a ‘shadow’…..you were exactly right. She is our little shadow – she is always right there with you. She also likes to hang out in the kitchen when I am making dinner (she secretly hopes for me to drop something for her to gobble up) . We love Daisy and cannot imagine our life without her now. She and Oliver are sharing toys and chew bones…..she lays down on the dog bed/pillow in our living room and started chews on her nylabone – she is funny – loaded with personality. We have taken Daisy camping with us these last couple of weekends – she loves it. We take her for lots of walks with Oliver, and she parades through the campground like nobody’s business. She also loves to wear her new dresses and Michigan State Cheerleading outfit . Thank you for this addition to our family. She is a sweet little girl and is full of love. We are very happy with Daisy  ~ Susan Baranski

Mitch

Hi everyone: Just a short update on Mitchell. He is doing well. I think he misses Ike because he is much more clingy than usual - if that is possible. We have been practicing on improving some manners - such as sitting in the morning to be petted rather than jumping up. His 'stays' are getting much better... still have to work on the recall though! I don't know if he really knows how to play, but the past few months he has been pulling toys out of the bin and trying to play. And he is much better at not stealing our food. But that huge tail wag that never seems to stop, is worth it. I thought I would send one of our favourite pictures from a recent family photo shoot. This was a slightly 'styled' shoot, but being black, Mitch goes with everything. Hope you are all doing well. Anne, Noel, Freddy and Mitch.

Jackson

Hi Larry and Kathy! How are you? Janet and Jackson and I are doing great! Jackson really made himself at home here quickly. 😊 he is such a good boy and we are so happy to have him in our lives. We are all gonna try to make the picnic in September. I'm attaching a couple of recent pics of Jackson. Take care. We're looking forward to seeing you guys soon! Sincerely Jeff, Janet and Jackson.

Maglio

We lost our beloved Tank on Thanksgiving. There was a void in our house for the next few weeks to come. We then adopted Panzer (formerly Jaxx) on 12/23/13. He was the best Christmas present we could have asked for! He fit into the family's laid back lifestyle perfectly and bonded nicely with his pug brother Abrams. 6 months later we decided to adopt our first foster, Maglio. Another great addition to our bunch! Tales are wagging everyday and we couldn't be happier. THANK YOU Pug Luv for bringing these boys into our lives. You do wonderful things for all of these dogs and much success to you in the future. Happy 15th Anniversary!!! (LtoR; Abrams, Panzer, Maglio) Kyle & Sharlene Ellard

Barkley

This is Barkley. We adopted her from you a few weeks ago. What a treat she is!!!!! Enjoying her new yard and her new sister. Peggy Minzghor
