Poem
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...

Stella
The final good bye. At 10 pm 4/16/25 with her BFF, George, by our side and she in my arms we helped our Stella peacefully cross over to heaven. I doubt I can find the right words to express my love and gratitude to have had the privilege of being the mom to the most amazing Pug. Stella brought me more minutes, hours, days, months, years of happiness than I could’ve imagined I ever deserved. Forever would’ve not even been enough time to have spent with her. It’s difficult to imagine my life without her by my side. I pray she takes with her to heaven knowing my life was perfect and meaningful because of her. I miss her already and doubt a day will pass that I don’t think of her and miss her comical ways and the snores I loved so dearly.
Hug your fur babies a little longer today.
You will forever be the best Purg my sweet baby S-girl (Tella, Esmeralda, Bean, Munchkin, Lovie). Heaven has a new angel and the night skies a brighter star. Rest in peace my Stella.
Love you always, Bean!
Your mommy (Marie Tatarelli)
Stella Bean was adopted from MI Pug Rescue in 2016 and has been my constant and loving best friend. I miss her so much.

Frank
Here is a pic of Frank in his stroller - he was a great companion and went everywhere with us. Frank was well known at many places we went and made friends with everyone "human and K-9". He made it to 17 years 8 months - he had a Great Life!
Thanks
Dennis and Beth
Milo
'm writing to let you know that after 13 wonderful years, we had to say goodbye to our beloved Milo. We adopted him on Jan. 9, 2012 at 2 years old and enjoyed so many wonderful memories -- too many to count! We miss him terribly. Thank you for all you do to help these pugs find forever homes. Merry Christmas.
Sincerely,
Pete Dembowski & Family
