Obie

Hello, I wanted to let you know that Obie is doing great. He's settling in very nicely with his other "brothers" Cosmo and Cooter. I attached a picture...it's hard to get three pugs to stay still together for any amount of time. We have made an appointment with an ophthalmologist to consult on Obie's cataract to see if he may be a good candidate for lens replacement.

Sammy

Sammy was adopted in 2003. His family moved to Colorado where he just celebrated his 14th birthday. He is a big Spartan fan.

Maxx

We just wanted to update you on Nacho. He is sure a busy boy, although he is beginning to calm down. His first birthday is coming up on November 11! He loves to torment Kevin. Unfortunately, they are not best friends. They do play a lot, but Nacho still has too much energy for Kevin. Nacho does clean Kevin's eyes and ears for him just about daily. Nacho shows us his love by giving us long hugs and ear kisses. He plays with toys and chew on bones. He loves vacations at grandma's where he gets to run around the pond and swim, walks 4-miles every morning and probably gets too many treats. Nacho loved Halloween. We get over a 100 trick or treaters and he was by the door to greet all of them. I attached some recent pictures of him in costume and a few others. He was an airplane for Kevin, the pilot. Cosmo

Hi Larry and Kathy!! Sorry I haven't written this sooner, but shady and I have been having so much fun in our new house! It has an upstairs and a huge backyard to run around in. Mom takes us for a walk every night, she even bought us coats for the colder nights. We have lots of toys to play with and mom had a big comfy bed in every room, so we can sleep wherever we want. We take turns sleeping in moms room or the boys. I'm still a little nervous going up the stairs, so dad carries me. Shady is fearless! She just runs up there like its a race!! We've met our new vet, she says I need to put on a few pounds, but shady is perfect. Mom cleans our ears and faces every day, I don't like it much, but after she says a good boy and I get a chewy treat. That's great since I lost some teeth. I just wanted to say thank you for getting us healthy again, and finding us a family that really loves and spoils us. We even have a cousin cinnamon in North Carolina that will visit soon! We can't wait for that! So, mom says we get to stay here forever, I'm really happy about that. She really takes good care of us. I get massages on my back and hips which is good for my arthritis, and shady likes to be brushed every night. We love our new home. Thank you for finding us a forever home!!
