Milo
Just wanted to share a pic from Milo's birthday party today (he's 3)! He got lots of chew toy presents and a "cake" made from sliced doggy sausage, cream cheese and marrow bones. He also enjoyed an extra long walk, a ride to the pet store, and our family singing the birthday song to him. I think he's had a good day.

Zoie
I adopted Zoie from the Michigan Pug Rescue in June of 2005. I am sure that every pug owner feels this way, but I am certain that Zoie is one of the absolute best dogs in the world! She has been my constant companion and sidekick since the day I brought her home. Zo (or “Biggie” as we like to call her) has been with me through a lot since 2005….attending the Police Academy, buying my first house, working full time as an Officer while getting a Master’s Degree, and now planning my wedding! She is a neighborhood and family favorite….my Dad tries to keep her every time I take her home to Ludington, MI. In March of 2010 we added another pug (Mylie) to our family. Zo was a little hesitant about this newcomer at first, but now they are the best of friends – sometimes even sleeping in the same little dog bed. Having a pug (and now two) in my life has been one of the greatest gifts I have ever received…I know pug people understand this feeling! I tell Zoie all the time that I am going to find the Fountain of Youth and dip her in it so I can keep her forever and forever. I cannot imagine my life without her! Thank you Pug Rescue for bringing her into my life!!
Bianca
This is Cricket. Formerly known as "Bianca". We adopted her in February, 2012 and absolutely adore her! Cricket has one mood: Happy.
Happy, happy, happy! All the time! We've discovered that Cricket loves to run and is very athletic! She runs like the wind, leaps in the air in the middle of her runs, smiling the entire time! She and our cat Jonesy are great friends and spend a lot of time wrestling and running through the house. She is such a little cutie and we couldn't love her more. Thank you MPR for our wonderful, happy little girl!
Ike
Greetings from Canada!
I hope this email finds you both well. Its been a while since I've sent off an email, but thought I would give you an update on Ike.
Since our move from Toronto to Smiths Falls, things have been busy (new house, new jobs, new baby - now 2 1/2 years old). Ike is still doing great. I guess he's almost 11 1/2 now (if his birth date is accurate). He is still pretty active, but tires more easily. Over the last year we've noticed more white on his face - not sure if this has been accelerated by Freddy or just normal :)
Noel works from home and when the museum is closed I bring Ike to work with me - he loves it there! We also visit my parents often and Ike enjoys a good walk in the forest. I would say that he and Freddy have a love/hate relationship. Freddy is usually pretty good with Ike, but sometimes will just go up to him and push him or crawl around on the floor and head-butt him. Ike is unbelievably patient and I think Freddy is getting to age where he understands that Ike is a small dog and he must be good to him (I think there is a bit of a jealously thing between them). At the same time though, Freddy wants to bring Ike everywhere and go everywhere with him.
We've been to a pug-a-lug (pug gathering) in Ottawa. There are a few pugs around town and we see them out on walks.
I attached a few photos from the last two years. Going through them, I noticed we don't take as many photos of Ike as we used to.
Got the flyer for the picnic - we might be able to make it this year. Everyone has their passports.
I am sure there is more to tell, but I can't think of it right now.
Hope all is well and I'll try to keep in touch more often.
Anne, Noel, Freddy and Ike
