PJ came to Michigan Pug Rescue, Pug Luv from a Veterinary office. He was presented to the office not eating and throwing up. He was examined and X-rays were done where it was determined he had an obstruction of the intestine. The family was informed of the issue and the cost of the surgery and they were unable to afford the procedure. The office persuaded them to relinquish them to the office rather than euthanize him. Pug Luv was contacted to determine if he would be able to enter the program and pay for the surgery. He is 2 years old, good with children and other dogs, housebroken, neutered, brought up to date on his Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, blood, fecal and heartworm testing. He needs to go to a home where he can be monitored for his behavior. He has eaten toys more than once, this time it almost cost him his life. As a result of his behavior the family that adopts PJ cannot have small children.
The Veterinary bill for PJ has already exceeded $1,200. If you can help with a donation it is appreciated.
